TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – One man is behind bars following a deadly shooting in Tallahassee, according to police.
Tallahassee police announced the arrest of Gage Champion, 34, on Thursday. He is charged with first-degree murder.
The shooting happened within the 2800 block of Mission Road at around 9 p.m. on Tuesday.

TPD said the victim and Champion knew each other and had been in an argument in the days leading up to the shooting.

The pair was seen inside a residence together on Tuesday and police responded to the same residence that night where they found the victim.
Champion was taken into custody in Crawfordville, TPD said.
