JACKSONVILLE, N.C. (WITN) – A Jacksonville woman is behind bars following a convenience store armed robbery.
46-year-old Teambay Jones was arrested Thursday by the Onslow County Sheriff’s Office. Warrants show that on February 14, Jones conspired with a man to rob the Best Mart located at 2945 Richlands Hwy.
Jones threatened the clerk with a gun and robbed the store of $160, court documents show.
The Jacksonville woman is charged with felony conspiracy and robbery with a dangerous weapon.
She was taken to the Onslow County Detention Center, where she is being held without bond. Her first court appearance is scheduled for Friday.
