TREEmendous Miami Annual Meeting
2:30 to 6 p.m. TREEmendous Miami invites the community to its Annual Meeting and Volunteer Appreciation Picnic, featuring an optional volunteer work session to help care for planted areas and remove invasive species in the park. The evening continues with a picnic dinner and meeting to celebrate the past year’s accomplishments, share updates, and hold Board elections. Guests may bring a side dish or dessert to share.

Free Tutoring
10 to 11 a.m. Available every Sunday at the Key Biscayne Police Station, providing academic support for students. Led by some of Miami’s top high school tutors, these sessions offer help with homework across various subjects. Students can drop in for one-on-one guidance in a supportive learning environment. No registration is required, just bring your materials and questions. Free.

Myths & Legends of the Northwest Coast
7 p.m. An exploration of the rich artistic and storytelling traditions of the First Nations tribes of the Pacific Northwest. Through carved masks, rattles, and totem poles, the program examines how myth, environment, and imagination shaped one of the world’s most visually powerful cultural legacies. Drs. Joan and Paul Gluck, longtime Key Biscayne residents and collectors of Native American art, will share insights from their nationally recognized collection and museum exhibitions. A wine and cheese reception will precede the presentation.

Swale Workshop
6 to 8 p.m. The Village of Key Biscayne will host a Swale Workshop called by Mayor Joe I. Rasco to discuss matters related to swale areas and community considerations. The workshop will provide an opportunity for dialogue, questions, and public input on this important neighborhood topic. Residents are encouraged to attend and stay informed about ongoing discussions impacting the island. The meeting is open to the public.

Montreux Jazz Festival Miami
7 p.m. Through March 1. Returning for its third edition and expanding across Coconut Grove and Miami Beach. The main weekend unfolds at The Hangar with performances by Trombone Shorty, Jon Batiste, Nile Rodgers & CHIC, TOTO, Bomba Estéreo and more, while opening nights at the Miami Beach Bandshell feature tributes to Miles Davis and genre-bending sets by Makaya McCraven.
