WINK News Security Analyst Richard Kolko provided insights into this week’s list of most wanted fugitives and recent arrests.

Nandy Fernandez is one of the individuals highlighted. Fernandez was found guilty of battery on a person over 65 and child abuse. He served 18 months in prison, and as part of his probation, he was required to attend certain court hearings. However, Fernandez failed to appear, resulting in a warrant for his arrest.

Curtis Mack, a 37-year-old with a lengthy criminal history, is also on the list. Mack has 27 prior arrests, including burglary, drug offenses, armed robbery, and failure to support his children. Recently, he stole an e-bike, which police discovered during an investigation into a battery incident involving Mack and a woman.

Benjamin Steiner, another fugitive, crashed his car and attempted to flee the scene. The 37-year-old was arrested and charged with drunk driving and drug possession. After bonding out, Steiner was instructed to appear in court, but he failed to do so. As a result, he now has a warrant for his arrest with no bond available.

Trish Routte of Crime Stoppers highlighted the success of “Most Wanted Wednesday” on WINK News. She said that viewer tips led to the arrest of three fugitives previously featured on the program: Jose Catete, Tiffany McCarter, and Thomas Geis.
