JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Jacksonville University junior Claire Mrukowski has been named to the 2026 Preseason All-ASUN Team, as announced by the league office.

Mrukowski has been a cornerstone of Jacksonville’s beach lineup over the past two seasons, so this honor comes as no surprise.

In 2025, she appeared in 35 matches, all alongside program wins leader Emily Kubicsko, and collected 16 victories. Her performance earned her Second-Team All-ASUN honors while placing her among the top eight in career wins in Jacksonville history.

As a freshman in 2024, Mrukowski made an immediate impact, earning All-ASUN Freshman Team recognition after tying the program’s freshman win record with 16 victories. She competed in 36 matches, including 25 alongside indoor teammate Kristina Nika and 11 with her twin sister Meredith.

“Claire has been a cornerstone of our lineup over the past two seasons,” said head coach Dylan Hough. “During that time, she’s demonstrated tremendous growth as a player and embraced an even greater responsibility as a leader and captain this year. She has consistently proven that she can compete with the very best in the ASUN Conference, and we’re incredibly proud that the conference has recognized her with this preseason honor.”

In addition to her beach success, Mrukowski has built an impressive indoor volleyball résumé at Jacksonville.

As a sophomore in 2024, she appeared in 38 sets across 12 matches, totaling 105 kills, 70 digs, and 126.5 points, including a 22-kill, 25.5-point performance at Queens (N.C.).

As a freshman, she played 62 sets, recording 78 kills, 15 blocks, and 91.5 total points, highlighted by a 12-kill outing against Samford.

Mrukowski was joined on the Preseason All-ASUN Team by North Florida’s Cameron Humphries, Mackenzie Murphy and Presley Murray, FGCU’s Nicole DeOliveira and Alexis Keeter, Stetson’s Marta Carro, Maria Ozaeta and Julia Radelczuk, and North Alabama’s Selma Robinson.
