Orlando police officers seized drugs and guns as 144 people were arrested in just one week.

The Orlando Police Department announced that while working on the beat, OPD officers removed illegal drugs and 15 crime guns from local streets last week.

In addition to the drug and gun seizures, police officers made 144 arrests as part of these enforcement efforts, according to OPD.

Law enforcement has been busy in the Central Florida tourist city continuing to work hard to keep local streets safe.

Earlier this month, there were reports that Orlando police had recently made 136 arrests in one week and seized 14 crime guns, while the previous week OPD seized 24 crime guns and made 135 arrests.
