Florida basketball hits the road on Saturday for an early afternoon battle with the Ole Miss Rebels in Oxford, and if you want to catch the SEC hoops action on TV or live stream — or are looking for betting odds and predictions — look no further than the lines below.
The Gators are 20-6 overall and 11-2 in conference play, while ranked 11th in the USA TODAY Sports Coaches Poll and 12th in the AP Top 25. Todd Golden’s team has run off six-straight wins with five coming in double-digit fashion.
The Rebels have struggled to an 11-15 overall record that includes a struggling 3-10 mark against fellow SEC foes. Ole Miss has lost eight straight, dating back to a 68-67 rivalry road win at the Mississippi State Bulldogs on Jan. 17 — over a month ago.
The Orange and Blue hold the edge in the all-time series, 71-47, dating back to 1940, and won the last meeting in Gainesville last season, 90-71.

The Gators have put their road woes firmly in the rearview mirror, but they cannot afford to let up against the Rebels on their own home court. Ole Miss has floundered against the conference heavyweights so far, so they might be due if you are a probability kind of person.
I think Florida emerges victoriously, but Golden’s gang falls short of the spread. Still, a double-digit victory works just fine for me.
PREDICTION: Florida 83, Ole Miss 71
