Two of the top teams in the ACC are set to square off in Charlottesville on Saturday afternoon.
The Miami Hurricanes (21-5, 10-3 ACC) have played their way comfortably into the tournament field amid a four-game winning streak that has featured upset wins over UNC and NC State. Now, they look for another signature win on the road against a ranked Virginia Cavaliers (23-3, 11-2 ACC) squad that has won seven games in a row and remains in contention to win the league.
If you are looking for some betting advice for the matchup, we’ve got you covered. Here are the latest odds for the game, courtesy of FanDuel.

At least on paper, this projects to be a physical, defensive-oriented, low-scoring affair. Virginia’s defense is one of the nation’s best, and Miami’s isn’t far behind. Offensively, both teams rely on 6-foot-9 wings as Malik Reneau (Miami) and Thijs De Ridder (Virginia) lead their respective teams in scoring.
Both are top-15 nationally in rebounding margin, and whoever wins the battle of the boards here is likely to win the game outright.
Miami is on a bit of a hot streak right now, but it has been the more volatile team recently. It lost to Cal on Jan. 31, and it nearly suffered a loss to Virginia Tech which could have put it back on the bubble in its last outing. I simply trust the Cavaliers more, especially at home. It should be closer than the spread, though.
Prediction: Virginia 72, Miami 66
Best Bet: Miami +8.5, Under 146.5
