Weekend traffic was slowed along U.S. 1 in the Florida Keys due to a water-main break on U.S. 1, the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office said.

The break happened around 11:30 a.m. Saturday at mile marker 91 in the Upper Keys community of Tavernier, which is between Key Largo to the north and Islamorada to the south.

The sheriff’s office said the Florida Keys Aqueduct Authority, which maintains the line, is working to fix the break.
