As the Miami Redhawks continue to be one of the most pleasant surprises in men’s college basketball, they got a special visit from Cleveland Browns superstar Myles Garrett.
The RedHawks posted a picture with Garrett standing amid the players in the locker room after their victory over Bowling Green on Friday night.
Garrett has been busy this month. He was just in Italy for the Winter Olympics to support his girlfriend, Chloe Kim, as she competed in the women’s halfpipe. Kim won silver to medal at the Olympics for the third consecutive time dating back to 2018.
After returning to the United States, Garrett took in a basketball game at Millett Hall on Friday night. It was a fruitful venture because Miami earned a 91-77 victory to improve to 27-0 this season.
The 27 wins have already set a new single-season record for the RedHawks, surpassing the previous mark of 25 set last season. Head coach Travis Steele’s team is four wins away from completing an undefeated regular season.
Garrett has spent his entire professional career in Ohio with the Browns. He is coming off a 2025 season in which he set an NFL record with 23 sacks en route to winning Defensive Player of the Year.
