Heavy traffic expected near PortMiami as multiple cruise ships set to arrive Sunday

MIAMI — The Miami Police Department is warning drivers to expect heavy traffic Sunday near the PortMiami as a large number of cruise ships are scheduled to arrive.

The port is located at 1015 N. America Way

Police said delays are likely around the port and surrounding roadways.

Drivers are encouraged to plan ahead, allow extra travel time and consider alternate routes.
