CAPE CORAL, Fla. — The Cape Coral Fire Department is investigating what caused a house fire that started early Monday morning.

A spokesperson said the fire started on the back lanai and it spread into the attack.
The husband, wife, two family members visiting and a dog made it out safely.
The Cape Coral Fire inspectors and marshal are at the scene working to figure out what caused it.
