The Broward Center for the Performing Arts in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, has announced its 2026-27 Bank of America Broadway in Ft. Lauderdale musical subscription season that includes perennial favorites, recent Broadway hits and several South Florida premieres.

Buena Vista Social Club – Step into the heart of Cuba, beyond the glitz of the Tropicana, to a place where blazing trumpets and sizzling guitars set the dance floor on fire. Here, the real sound of Havana was born—and one woman discovers the music that will change her life forever. Inspired by true events. Oct. 13-18, 2026
Hamilton – This blockbuster musical tells the story of Founding Father Alexander Hamilton and his role in winning the American Revolution and building a new nation. A multi-ethnic cast performs Lin-Manuel Miranda’s score with a dynamic mixture of Broadway, R&B and rap music. Nov. 10-22, 2026
Death Becomes Her –A special-effects extravaganza, this campy and catty musical is based on the hit 1992 supernatural comedy about two friendly rivals who will do anything—and we mean anything—to preserve their youth and one-up each other. Dec. 15-27, 2026
Mamma Mia! – Preparing for her wedding, Sophie invites three of her free-spirited mom’s former boyfriends, hoping to figure out which one is her real father. The musical showcases a score of hits from the rock group ABBA. Feb. 2-14, 2027
Six – Popular 2021 musical about the struggles of the six wives of England’s King Henry VIII.Feb. 23-28, 2027
The Notebook – Based on the best-selling novel that inspired the iconic film, this 2024 musical tells the story of Allie and Noah, both from different social worlds, who spend a lifetime trying to recapture their teen-age summer romance.March 9-14, 2027
Disney’s Beauty and the Beast – This live stage adaptation of the beloved Disney animated musical tells the story of a young woman who helps to humanize a prince who was placed under a terrible spell. April 6-18, 2027
The Outsiders – Based on the best-selling novel, the 2024 Tony Award-winning Best Musical tells the story of a Tulsa, OK, teen caught between two local gangs. May 5-16, 2027
