A woman who authorities said is one of the “most wanted” drug offenders in the Florida Keys was arrested after calling 911 to report her son was threatening to kill her with a sword, officials said.
Jerneen Nicole Green, 51, of Stock Island, was taken into custody on Monday on multiple charges, Monroe County Sheriff’s Office officials said.
Green had called 911 to report that her son, 31-year-old Zjiavon Deaute Green, had been drinking alcohol, was damaging property, and was swinging a katana-style sword and threatening to kill her and others, authorities said.

Zjiavon Green could be heard threatening his mother and responding deputies on the 911 call before he was taken into custody, officials said.
No one was injured. A sword was recovered at the scene, the sheriff’s office said.
Jerneen Green had been wanted on what authorities said was a “myriad of arrest warrants” for charges including trafficking cocaine, trafficking fentanyl, trafficking hydrocodone, cocaine sales, and multiple charges of drug possession and drug paraphernalia possession.
Zjiavon Green was arrested on an aggravated assault charge.
Both the mother and son were booked into jail.
