A new Butterbeer Waffle is among the new and returning treats coming to Universal’s Butterbeer season. The season starts on March 1, 2026.

Butterbeer Season is more than just an excuse to drink Butterbeer — it’s a time filled with new, limited-time Butterbeer treats and merchandise that you can only get in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Orlando Resort.
What makes Butterbeer Season 2026 extra special is the fact that this year marks the 25th anniversary of the franchise’s first film, “Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone,” where Butterbeer was first brought to life in the films.
Treats
The new Butterbeer Waffle will be available at the Three Broomsticks in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Hogsmeade at Universal Islands of Adventure as well as The Leaky Cauldron in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Diagon Alley at Universal Studios Florida.
There are also four new treats coming to Honeydukes in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Hogsmeade and Sugarplum’s Sweet Shop in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Diagon Alley. Two are here to stay, and two are only available during Butterbeer Season.
Butterbeer Cupcake: vanilla cake base filled with Butterbeer-flavored caramel and is topped with Butterbeer-flavored icing and a sugary Butterbeer logo
Butterbeer Cookie Sandwich: two vanilla-flavored cookies mixed with Butterbeer chunks and stuffed with Butterbeer-flavored icing
Butterbeer Bar on the sides and a Butterbeer caramel drizzle and sugary Butterbeer logo on top
Butterbeer Candy Apple (available year-round): a tangy green apple dipped in rich Butterbeer caramel
Butterbeer Shortbread Bar (available year-round): a sweet cookie sheet topped with Butterbeer caramel and a Butterbeer-chocolate drizzle
Butterbeer Season will be celebrated in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic at Universal Epic Universe for the first time ever. Two treats will be available at K. Rammelle: Bièraubeurre Truffle and Bièraubeurre Macaron.
The Bièraubeurre Truffle is made with a milk or white chocolate shell, while the Bièraubeurre Macaron features the Butterbeer logo on top with a Butterbeer filling inside. They will also be available all year long.
The Butterbeer Season treats continue at Café L’air De La Sirène, where you’ll find a Bièraubeurre Creme Brûlée: Butterbeer custard with Butterbeer cream, garnished with a sugar banner and white chocolate crisps.
Merchandise
This Butterbeer Season, there is also a limited-time assortment of exclusive Butterbeer-themed merchandise, including a T-shirt, spirit jersey, bucket hat, and more.
If you can’t make it to the theme parks, you can find these items online.
Butterbeer Season runs March 1 through May 31, 2026.
