A woman accused of stabbing her boyfriend in Miami was arrested on Monday, authorities said.

Myrtis Harden, 41, was charged with attempted murder and battery.

According to authorities, on Feb. 20, Myrtis and her boyfriend, who have been in a relationship for about 13 months, were talking about Harden’s drug addiction and possible cheating when she got upset and left during the conversation.

An arrest report said Harden then grabbed a knife and stabbed her 72-year-old boyfriend on the top of his head, which caused a small laceration.

The physical altercation continued until the victim took the knife from Harden, but she continued to fight him by kicking and hitting him in the face several times until he fell to the ground, the report said.

After falling, the victim told Harden to leave before the police arrived, but she stayed, grabbed another knife and said “If you try me again, I’m going to stab you again,” before stabbing her boyfriend in the arm, the report said.

She then left the home.

Three days after the incident, Harden was found by authorities in the area of Northwest 17th Avenue and 61st Street, and she was arrested.
