BASEBALL

Cape Coral 17, Lehigh 3 (5 innings): Jonnathan Rabeiro had two hits including a double, driving in four Seahawks runs and scoring two. Colin Thess and Steven Bobovnick had two RBI each. Bobovnick was 3-for-4 on the night. 

Anthony Oquendo allowed three unearned runs, striking out seven over five innings.

Charlotte 14, Mariner 3 (6 innings):  Colin Raftery had a double and two hits overall, driving in a run for the Tritons (2-4). Xavier Muentes had a solo home run.

SOFTBALL

Cape Coral 8, St. John Neumann 5: Taylor Buice drove in four runs with two doubles, leading the Seahawks to their first win (1-2). Bella Poole had three hits including a double, good for two RBI. Allie Buice had two hits including a double and one RBI.

SW Florida Christian 14, Oasis 4: Kyra Ca ender had three hits including a home run and a double, scoring twice and driving in a run for the Sharks (1-2).

BEACH VOLLEYBALL

Mariner 5, Ida Baker 0: The Tritons opened the season with a win against the Bulldogs.

Berkeley Prep 5, Bishop Verot 0: Verot (0-1) was swept in a road match up in Tampa.
