The Roadshow with Zach and Monica kicked off Feb. 17 with a screening of The Favourite at Green Light Cinema in St. Petersburg. This pop-up cinema series happens once a month, rotating between different spots across Tampa and St. Petersburg.
Zachery Howard and Mónica Carrasquillo pick the films. Green Light Cinema at 221 2nd Ave. N hosts some showings, but the series also moves to La Sétima Club in Tampa and Webb’s City Cellar in St. Pete.
According to I Love the Burg, Zachery and Mónica jested that they woke up one day and said, “What if we made a book club, but louder and with better lighting?”
Drinks start at 7 p.m. The movie rolls at 7:30 p.m., then everyone can stick around after for discussion.
Seats are limited. The organizers share ticket links through the series’ Instagram account when each event gets closer.
