A mansion with a Louis Vuitton-inspired closet hit the market in Delray Beach on Monday for $55 million, making it the most expensive home for sale in the South Florida city.
The home is in Stone Creek Ranch, a gated community in west Delray Beach, which contrary to its name is located inland. The area has become home to some of the city’s priciest real estate deals, which have traditionally been along the beach. And it’s attracting celebrities—last year, Mark Wahlberg reportedly bought a $37 million megamansion within the community.
The newly listed home, on Quiet Vista Circle, stands on a 5-acre lot that backs up to a lake. The nearly 11,000-square-foot house, built in 2008, occupies about half the acreage, while the other half is made up of a Zen-inspired garden, according to the listing with Senada Adzem of Douglas Elliman and Bambi Ross of Starlink Realty.
“The expansive lakefront parcel allows for true estate-style living with wide setbacks, sweeping driveway approach and uninterrupted sightlines across the water,” Adzem said. “Many homes in the community are impressive architecturally, but very few combine this level of square footage with such a generous, resort-like outdoor footprint.”
The seller, who couldn’t be reached for comment, bought the home in 2019 for $9.959 million, records with PropertyShark show. In 2022, the seller did extensive renovation work to transform the house, Adzem said.
“Major interior spaces were reimagined with custom millwork, imported stone, upgraded lighting installation and highly curated design elements throughout,” she said. “Several lifestyle-driven specialty rooms were added or redesigned, including the couture-inspired closet, the private salon/spa suite, and the dedicated gift-wrapping and crafts atelier.”
The closet, in the primary suite, is Louis Vuitton-inspired and even sports the brand’s logo on the closet doors. The closet is secured by a “discreet biometric scanner,” and is outfitted with “museum-quality” display cabinets, LED-lit handbag galleries and a sitting area, according to Douglas Elliman.
“I previously sold another estate in Stone Creek Ranch that featured a Chanel-inspired couture closet, so we’re starting to see a pattern at this level of luxury where fashion becomes architecture,” Adzem said. “But each one is completely different in execution and personality. The Chanel space was elegant and classic, while this Louis Vuitton-inspired atelier feels bold, graphic and immersive.”

The primary suite is one of seven bedrooms in the home and also includes two bathrooms.
Other features include a saltwater pool with a hot tub and sun shelves, multiple covered outdoor lounging spaces, a fire pit, a wine closet, a club room with a bar and a guest house.
Previously, the home was owned by Wayne Huizenga Jr., the eldest son of the late AutoNation and Waste Management founder, according to records.
