Billy Gonzalez, who was let go at Florida following his former boss Billy Napier’s unsuccessful tenure, has joined Texas football as an offensive analyst, according to On3. Gonzalez’ most recent gig prior to his eventual relocating to Austin was as the Gators’ interim head coach after Napier’s firing midseason last year. Gonzales saw five games as Florida’s football coaching leader. He’ll work to boost Steve Sarkisian’s pass-heavy offensive regime.
