For over three decades, March in Miami has meant one thing: dance music. The Winter Music Conference (WMC) unites the greatest minds and loudest talents in electronic music for the industry’s preeminent annual get-together.
As it celebrates its 36th edition on March 24th-26th 2026, the conference is moving to the sleek Kimpton EPIC Hotel in Downtown Miami, with a fresh wave of artist speakers and workshop leaders, including Sara Landry, Radio Slave, DJ Minx, Doc Martin, Junior Sanchez and more. This change of scenery means a total takeover of the new official Miami Music Week hub, blending three days of cutting-edge music, tech, education, and culture.

Choose your path
What sets 2026 apart is the refined “two-track” programming model. Rather than a one-size-fits-all schedule like many conferences, attendees can tailor their experience to their specific goals:
The Industry Track is made for the professionals behind the scenes. Guests will dive into the engine room of the business with panels like “The Artist As A Startup” and “Fixing the Fragmented Fan.” Featuring partners like TikTok’s SoundOn and Label Radar, it’s the ultimate space for networking and shaping the future of the world of dance music.

The Creators Track is designed for those behind the decks and in the studios. It’s a hands-on experience featuring gear showcases from the world’s leading brands like AlphaTheta, Telepathic Instruments, Union Audio, DPA Microphones, L-Acoustics, and more. Production workshops and panels featuring top-tier artists are designed to sharpen your production and performance skills.
This year’s standout is the A&R Pop-Up Lounge in partnership with Label Radar, where up-and-coming producers have the unique opportunity to connect directly with influential A&R teams and hand off their USBs straight to decision makers. Participating labels include Balance Recordings, Junior Sanchez’s Brobot Records, Create Music Group (Monstercat, K7!, Cr2), Dirty Workz, Dirtybird, Experts Only, Spinnin’ Records and Ultra Records.

There’ll also be workshops like “Using AI Without Losing Your Sound” and “Low End Theory,” that will move the needle on the skills that actually get you signed.
The “two-track” approach ensures that label managers aren’t stuck in synth tutorials, and producers aren’t losing steam in legal licensing seminars. You maximize your time, your investment, and your enjoyment!

Backstage and beyond
Of course, it wouldn’t be WMC without the music. Between the panels, the Kimpton EPIC rooftop hosts the Beatport Live pool party series, an unmissable chance to network, discover, and celebrate while overlooking the beautiful Biscayne Bay. For this edition, prepare to dance the three-day pool party away to tunes curated by Mood Child, Rekids, and Hot Creations x Three Six Zero Recordings, featuring performances from Danny Tenaglia, Radio Slave, DJ Minx, DJ Sneak, and more. Each day “highlight[s] the vision and sound of influential imprints across house and techno culture.”
Here’s a lineup of the series:
