A woman was arrested after a road rage incident in Orlando involving two women and a police officer Monday, according to the Orlando Police Department.OPD responded to a battery-related call near Millenia Boulevard.Upon arrival, deputies met with two victims, who claimed the suspect, later identified as 37-year-old Mandolyn Shaffer-Brockwell, had assaulted them.The first victim to interact with Shaffer-Brockwell told police the suspect’s vehicle repeatedly stopped short in front of her car, prompting the victim to honk and attempt to change lanes.The suspect then jumped out of her vehicle and onto the hood of the victim’s car, making threats before assaulting the victim, who is pregnant, OPD said in the arrest report.The second victim witnessed the attack and attempted to intervene, OPD said.The second victim told deputies that when she tried to help, the suspect told her to get back in her car and scratched her in the face.That’s when police said other drivers got out of their cars to assist the two victims. Shaffer-Brockwell fled the scene.When police located Shaffer-Brockwell at a nearby Target store, she resisted arrest, biting one officer and kicking another, according to the arrest report.Shaffer-Brockwell is charged with battery on a person 65 years or older, aggravated battery on a law enforcement officer, resisting arrest and burglary.
