One of Miami’s favorite pizza spots is opening a new location.
Miami Slice, the downtown pizzeria that has had the city buzzing since it first started serving its New York-style pies, is coming to Coconut Grove.
Created by Alejandro DÃaz, José Cárdenas, and Santiago Huen as a pop-up in 2019, the hot spot at 1335 NE Miami Ct. will be opening its second location in the former space of Harry’s Pizzeria at 2996 McFarlane Road, across the street from CocoWalk.
No opening date has been announced, but signs are up in the space’s windows, so the transformation is well underway. The news was announced by @thehungrypost Instagram account.
The restaurant, which began selling its pizza via Instagram, is best known for cold-fermenting its dough for more than three days to give the crust a sourdough flavor. In addition to traditional flavors like a margherita, Miami Slice is famous for its La Salsera and its viral swirls of pesto on marinara and vodka sauce.
