TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) -The weather is warming back up and the Shamrock Scurry is back in Tallahassee.
The event began in 1981 at Killearn Methodist Church, and a variety of organizations helped out. However, it fell off but returned in 2010.
Since then, it has been a fun event that brings the community together.
Jim Flury and Connie Clarke from Killearn Methodist joined our Lanetra Bennett and Rob Nucatola in the studio to explain why this event is so important to the community.
