Bosphorous Turkish Cuisine opened a second Tampa Bay location this month in downtown St. Petersburg on the ground floor of the Moxy Hotel at 1246 Central Ave.
This marks the sixth location in Florida, on the heels of a Tampa outpost that opened in the summer of 2024.
The restaurant is named for the Bosphorus Strait that is straddled by Istanbul, Turkey. With Turkish spices, decor and ingredients, each concept offers the same food menus, lunch and dinner, with unique interior designs and cocktails at each location.

Expect traditional Turkish dishes like cacik ($9, cold cucumber dip), piyaz salatasi ($14, white bean salad) and beyti kebap ($29), which is lamb flavored with garlic, hot Turkish peppers and parsley, chargrilled on skewers and topped with tomato and yogurt sauces.
Doved and Tammy Sexter along with Chris and Andi Southern are partners in the venture. The group is opening a Bosphorous in Wesley Chapel in May, in the Wiregrass Mall at 28211 Paseo Drive, and they are actively scouting a location in Sarasota.
