TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – A man arrested in October after allegedly taking photos of children in a public bathroom is facing numerous additional charges in connection with another incident.
Qyran Ackerman is facing 22 counts of digital voyeurism, subsequent offence, attempted digital voyeurism, subsequent offence, 10 counts of child porn possession, and 10 counts of using a minor in the production of obscene materials, according to court records.
Ackerman was arrested and charged with five counts of Digital Voyeurism, according to police.(Leon County Jail)
Investigators say he was taking photos of little boys inside a public bathroom.
According to the arrest documents, a boy told relatives that he believed a photo had been taken of him in the bathroom at community aquatics center.
Investigators contacted the supervisor of the center who said that they had been having a problem with a man following children into the restrooms.
Ackerman was arrested in October on similar charges and was questioned by investigators.
Arrest papers show Ackerman admitted to being at the center on the day of the alleged incident but denied seeing or speaking to anyone in the bathroom.
A search of Ackerman’s phone revealed several photos of children taken in various bathrooms dated between Aug. and Oct. 2025.
