Injured owl released after rescue, rehabilitation at St. Francis Wildlife

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – Today’s something good is a Christmas miracle two months in the making!

A barred owl returned home on Thursday after an accident on Christmas morning when its wing got caught in barbed wire.

The owl, affectionately nicknamed Christmas, was rescued by the St. Francis Wildlife Association and, under their care, was able to fully heal before being released.
