Good morning, Central Florida. Here’s what you need to know today.

Your Weather Planner

A weakening front slipping down the peninsula will bring much needed rain to drought-stricken central Florida. Clouds will increase ahead of the front with scattered showers and storms developing west and sliding east later this afternoon into the evening. Highs warm above average into the lower 80s.

The front slowly moves south on Saturday with a lingering shower and storm threat off and on throughout the day. We’ll have plenty of clouds around, but some peeks of sun will help boost highs close to seasonable levels into the upper 70s.

Former President Bill Clinton is scheduled to appear before the same congressional committee Friday. Both depositions are part of the committee’s probe into Epstein and Maxwell and are being held at the Chappaqua Performing Arts Center in Chappaqua, New York –– the hamlet north of New York City where the couple lives.
