The community is invited to attend the fourth annual Pup’s Day Out to support Golden Retriever Rescue of Southwest Florida.
The event will be held from noon to 3 p.m. Sunday, March 1, at Rusty’s Raw Bar & Grill, 4631 S.E. 10th Place. The event’s sponsor is Tommy’s Express Car Wash.
The band, Westbound and Down, will begin their performance at 2 p.m. There is a gated and fenced area with grass, which organizer Eileen Snider, said is open to all dogs that are well behaved and on a leash.
The event will also include vendors, a 50/50 raffle and a chance auction, as well as Pet Artwork by Anhorn, a caricature artist.
All of the proceeds from the event will go towards veterinary bills – the medical bills for the foster and adopted dogs the nonprofit organization helps.
