BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Florida Atlantic women’s track & field team closed out day one of the 2026 American Indoor Conference Championships with a new program record.
The Owls started the day by qualifying for the 1-mile run final, as senior Anabell Reumann represented Florida Atlantic at the Birmingham Crossplex. In the 800-meter dash, Rosa ten Berg placed fourth overall to move on to day two. To finish the first day, ten Berg, Laura Kuhn, Adrianna Mier, and Teegan Anderson set a new program record in the distance medley relay.
QUICK HITS
Reumann registered a time of 4:59.98 in the mile to guarantee her spot in the final on Saturday. Feb. 28.
The Netherlands native, ten Berg, represented FAU in the 800-meter dash and secured her spot with a time of 2:09.90.
Senior Adrianna Mier also ran in the 800-meter dash for the third time this season. In every outing this indoor season, Mier has set a new personal best, today with a time of 2:12.39.
The DMR squad became first in program history in their second outing. The new program record is 11:41.67.
