COLLIER COUNTY, Fla. (WINK) — A somber day unfolds as Florida Highway Patrol Trooper Michael Diego is laid to rest in Naples. The memorial service will take place at the First Naples Church on Orange Blossom Drive, with a public viewing starting at 10:30 a.m. and the service beginning at noon.
First Naples Church will be showing the inside of the memorial service starting at 11 a.m., which you can watch here.
The procession will travel from Hodges Funeral Home on State Road 82 to the church. This route will affect several roads in the area, causing delays during the morning and afternoon.
Drivers should anticipate some delays as full line-of-duty honors follow the service.
