Your weekend is here, Tampa Bay! Here’s a look at the news and what events are going on in the area.

This weekend will start with moisture moving in from the Gulf leading to some rain showers.

Most of the rain showers will move through our area Saturday morning. The coverage will be at about 60%.

Exact timing is still in question, but most of the rain showers will exit Saturday afternoon. Afternoon highs will be in the upper 70s.

Saturday night will be partly cloudy with lows near 60.

Sunday will be sunny to partly cloudy with a 10% chance of an isolated PM shower. Highs will be near 80.

Beach and boating

Beach and boating conditions will start out a little gloomy this weekend as rain showers move through. The second half of the weekend will be nicer for visiting the beach.

Same goes for boating conditions as the second half of the weekend will be nicer. Winds will be from the east at about 10 knots.

PINELLAS

Links For Our Library Mini-Golf Main Street Festival | Saturday, 2 p.m. – 6 p.m. | $15 – $30: The Links For Our Library Mini-Golf Main Street Festival is nearly a mile of unique mini-golf holes, decorated golf carts and vendors to benefit the Safety Harbor Public Library Foundation.

Gasparilla Festival of the Arts | Saturday, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.; Sunday, 9 a.m. – 6 p.m.: This free showcase features over 250 world-class artists competing for $92,000 in awards. Visitors can enjoy live music, local food, and interactive zones along the river.

Bay Area Renaissance Festival | Saturday and Sunday, 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. | $19 – $75: Join the Villagers of Folkstone as they invite one and all to the magical 16th century European village, featuring 15 stages of entertainment including musicians, magicians, jugglers and jousting.

Model Train Show & Sale | Saturday, 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. | $6 adults – Children under 12 free: Regal Railways will be hosting a Model Train Show/Sale with over 80 tables of vendors selling various model trains, toys, and much more. There will also be a running train layout and test track.

Guided Paddleboard Adventure on Weeki Wachee Springs| Sunday, 9:30 a.m. or 11:30 a.m.: The guided paddleboard tour offers an experience on the Weeki Wachee River.
