Although we’ve known that Prince Gator was meeting for Universal Mardi Gras: International Flavors of Carnaval 2026, WDWNT has finally gotten the chance to meet him in the flesh (or scales).
Prince Gator is the son of King Gator. King Gator is a fan-favorite float that closes out the nightly parade. The character has a necklace of gold and purple beads and a matching crown. He meets in front of a themed Mardi Gras banner with images of his face, crowns, masks, and jester hats.
Character appearances are subject to change, and he does not have a specific set schedule. However, times are usually on the hour from 2:00 p.m. through 6:00 p.m.
The Universal Mardi Gras: International Flavors of Carnaval 2026 runs from February 7 through April 4, 2026, at Universal Studios Florida. Prince Gator is expected to meet throughout the event.
