JENSEN BEACH – Martin County Sheriff’s Office deputies are searching for suspects who cut through the roof of the Treasure Coast Square Mall and stole hundreds of pairs of Nike shoes, sometime between midnight and 8 a.m., Oct. 21.
According to sheriff’s office reports, thieves cut their way through the concrete roof of the mall, dropped into the Champs Sporting Goods and then took the merchandise.
The stolen merchandise was bagged, tagged, thrown off the roof, and loaded into a getaway vehicle. Some of the merchandise was left behind, according to officials.
