An Orange County man was arrested after more than 350 grams of drugs, including enough fentanyl to potentially kill thousands of people, were seized from his home.
Last month, the Orange County Sheriff’s Office received an anonymous tip that a man, identified as Eddie Rhodes III, was “selling drugs,” according to OCSO.

An investigation was launched by the agency, which led to a search warrant being issued for Rhodes’ residence in Orange County. When law enforcement executed that search warrant, they allegedly found the following items:
Several firearms including two pistols and one rifle.
225 grams of cocaine.
84 grams of fentanyl.
60 grams of methamphetamine.
1 pound of cannabis.
“The fentanyl alone has the potential to kill 42,000 people – and it’s now off the streets of Orange County,” said OCSO in a media release.
Rhodes was placed under arrest and booked into Orange County Jail. He is being charged with armed trafficking in cocaine, fentanyl, and methamphetamine.
“We encourage you to continue sending us anonymous tips in our quest to get deadly drugs off the streets,” stated the sheriff’s office.
