OBITUARY

Charlotte Frances Haggerty (nee Mueller), age 95, of Cape Coral, Florida, and formerly of Willoughby, Ohio, and Honolulu, Hawaii, passed away peacefully on February 6, 2026.Charlotte was born on May 16, 1930, to George and Anna (Kapitan) Mueller. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ambrose Haggerty; her sister, Dorothy Casper (Alvin); and her son-in-law, Robert Huebner.A true pioneer for her time, Charlotte took great pride in being a businesswoman. She began her career owning and operating A Bride’s Dream Shoppe, a bridal business that reflected her creativity and attention to detail. She later spent more than 40 years owning and operating her Putt-Putt Golf Fun Center. Her independence, determination, and strong work ethic were a source of inspiration to many.In retirement, Charlotte delighted in traveling, doting on her cherished granddaughters, and spending meaningful time with her family’who were always the center of her world.She is survived by her loving children, Thomas Haggerty (Amy) and Patricia Huebner; and her precious granddaughters, Torri Sholl (Evan) and Meghan Haggerty.On Saturday, March 7th at 11:00 am there will be a memorial mass at Immaculate Conception Church in Willoughby, Ohio.
