Scott McLaughlin starts from the pole position, with Marcus Ericsson beside him on the front row. Dale Coyne Racing had a strong qualifying effort, with rookie Dennis Hauger 3rd and Romain Grosjean 6th. Alex Palou — who is seeking his fourth consecutive drivers’ championship and second straight win at St. Pete — qualified 4th.
