LAKE WORTH BEACH, Fla. (CBS12) — One person was extricated from a vehicle following a crash near the intersection of Lake Worth Road and State Road 7.
Palm Beach County Fire Rescue said crews were dispatched to the scene at about 3:20 p.m. Upon arrival, crews found three people involved in a two vehicle crash that occurred between a box truck and a passenger car.

PBCFR says the driver’s side of the box truck was against a power pole. Firefighters had to use the jaws of life to extricate one person.

PBCFR says that person met trauma alert criteria was taken to a nearby hospital by a trauma hawk helicopter.
The two other people involved in the crash denied transport, PBCFR says.
The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office will be investigating the crash.
