The Florida State Seminoles currently have five players in their 2027 recruiting class, but offensive coordinator Tim Harris Jr. is still looking for his first commitment at wide receiver, a position they recruited extremely well in 2026.
They are in the mix for several promising players, including four-star wide receiver Anthony Jennings, who is from Fort Lauderdale, Florida. He has already scheduled an official visit with FSU for June 19, but he has also done so with several other programs. The speedster will also officially visit the Georgia Bulldogs (May 29), Florida Gators (June 5), and Auburn Tigers (June 12).
The Seminoles have been recruiting Jennings since January 2025, when they offered him a scholarship, but another program has emerged as the leader of his recruitment. Corey Bender of Rivals has logged a prediction for him to commit to the Florida Gators. It is the second prediction in Florida’s favor, giving them a 92.8% chance to land him, according to the Rivals recruiting prediction machine.
Jennings is ranked as the No. 260 overall player and No. 32 wide receiver in the Rivals industry ranking. He is also the No. 28 player from Florida.
He had a strong junior season at Dillard High School, showcasing the speed that has intrigued so many schools. He finished the year with 34 receptions for 823 yards and 11 touchdowns, leading them in all three areas and averaging 24.2 yards per catch.
