This drink was created by Universal Orlando’s beverage coordinator, Katelyn Haber. For this HERstory Highball, she opted to combine light gin with tangy orange bitters, fresh lemon juice, simple syrup, soda, and a cherry and lemon wheel garnish. This is served at The Oak & Star Tavern and The Plastered Owl.

Returning refreshed and better than ever for this year’s event is the Women Are Innovators cocktail created by Toothsome bartender Grace Dudley. The drink is made with rum, lime juice, blueberry concentrate, simple syrup, and sweet prosecco.

There is also a Pigeon Peas Risotto made with annatto oil, pulled braised pork, pickled onions, Parmesan cheese, breadfruit “tostones,” fried egg, and garnished with cilantro sprouts.

Also returning is the Lavender Mint Margarita, created by an award-winning bartender at Antojitos Authentic Mexican Food at CityWalk. The margarita is prepared with blanco tequila, lime juice, lavender, and simple syrups, and topped with a fresh mint garnish.

Margaritaville manager Grace Yacobowsky created this specialty cocktail for the restaurant. It is made with Margaritaville Spiced Rum, banana creme liqueur, lime juice, and specialty pink pineapple juice.

Strawberry & Rhubarb Panna Cotta at VIVO Italian Kitchen

Last but not least is the Strawberry & Rhubarb Panna Cotta at VIVO Italian Kitchen, created by sous chef Isabel Thompson. The dish is made with layered vanilla and strawberry gelatin mixed with heavy cream, lemon curd, and lemon shortbread crumble. Thompson is grateful for the opportunity to create this dish for the month and admires that Universal provides the chance for women in the culinary field to show off their hard work and dedication to the craft.
