The mystery surrounding Mark Zuckerberg’s rumored move to Miami’s so-called Billionaire Bunker—the subject of intense speculation in recent weeks—now appears to be resolved.
The Meta cofounder and his wife, Priscilla Chan, have allegedly closed on a waterfront estate on Florida’s Indian Creek Island, according to a source with knowledge of the deal. Sources familiar with the deal say Zuckerberg ultimately purchased the waterfront mansion at 7 Indian Creek Island Road, a two-acre property located a few doors down from Jeff Bezos’s expanding holdings on the guard-gated enclave.

Records now show the deal went down for $170 million, a transaction that makes it the most expensive home sale in Miami-Dade County history, blowing past the previous $120 million residential record.

The estate first debuted quietly on the market in November 2025 with a $200 million asking price, immediately becoming one of South Florida’s most closely watched listings. Developed by Los Angeles–based cosmetic surgeon Dr. Aaron Rollins and his wife, Miami real estate agent Marine Rollins, the home was represented by Jill and Danny Hertzberg of Coldwell Banker Realty.
Early reports had linked Zuckerberg to another high-profile address on the island, including the home of Jersey Mike’s founder Peter Cancro at 2 Indian Creek Island Road, but the closing now indicates that residence was never the intended target.
The nearly 28,000-square-foot compound was conceived by internationally recognized designer Ferris Rafauli, known for highly customized residences for billionaire clients, including Drake’s opulent Toronto estate. Rafauli oversaw the architecture, interiors, and landscaping of the limestone-clad home, which sits on nearly two acres with 200 feet of Biscayne Bay frontage. Though largely complete, the property has been marketed as offering a rare blank-slate opportunity.

Amenities lean toward private-resort scale, including a jazz lounge, double-height library concealed behind a hidden passage, a 1,500-gallon aquarium dividing the kitchen and dining areas, and a spa suite with a Himalayan salt-wall sauna and steam room. Outside, a 60-foot pool, cabana, and 135-foot yacht-ready dock overlook unobstructed bay views.
Indian Creek, home to fewer than 40 waterfront estates and its own private police force, has increasingly drawn hedge fund leaders, athletes, and technology executives seeking privacy and security.
The purchase also adds to Zuckerberg’s expanding real estate portfolio, which spans a meticulously assembled compound in Palo Alto, a sprawling estate on Hawaii’s Kauai, adjoining lakefront properties in Lake Tahoe, and a recently acquired mansion in Washington, D.C.
