Orlando Health is expanding its rehabilitation programs in West Orange.
The organization announced Tuesday, Oct. 21, the opening of its newest pediatric rehabilitation location in Ocoee.
The pediatric clinic will offer outpatient occupational, physical and speech therapy, providing closer access for families who previously traveled longer distances for care.
More so, Orlando Health will begin offering adult neurological rehabilitation and diagnostic testing in January.
These new additions will make the location uniquely comprehensive.
“This expansion allows us to meet families where they are and provide high-quality therapy services closer to home,” said Victor Rosenbaum, Orlando Health Ambulatory Services vice president. “Having pediatric, adult and inpatient rehabilitation programs all in one location creates incredible opportunities for collaboration across the entire continuum of care. It’s especially meaningful for patients who may need ongoing rehabilitation as they grow from childhood into adulthood.”
