TALLAHASSEE – Florida State’s Alexis Durish and Audrey Koenig are the Big 12 Pair of the Week following an undefeated weekend on court one at home.
The 2025 CCSA Co-Pair of the Year is already proving themselves in a new conference after FSU’s realignment with the Big 12 last September. Durish and Koenig managed to defeat three top-25 programs at the first court, including No. 14 FAU, No. 16 North Florida and most notably, No. 7 TCU. The duo needed only two sets to secure the wins against all three opponents.
Durish, a native of Venice, Florida, has put up 98 total wins as a Seminole. Her debut season in 2023 included 31 total wins, a winning percentage of .886, and a 17-match win streak. Durish was added to the 2023 CCSA All-Freshman team. Following her performances in 2024, Durish was later named to the CCSA All-Conference Team and All-Academic Team. She also managed to earn a spot on the 2025 AVCA All-American First Team.
Koenig, a native of Wesley Chapel, Florida, has managed 70 total wins in the garnet and gold. In 2025 Koenig played exclusively alongside Durish on court one, recording 24 wins and only eight losses. Koenig was named to the 2025 AVCA All-American First Team and CCSA All-Conference Team.
The duo is heading to India to play in the Beach Pro Tour Challenge later this week, where they will face elite pairs from around the world. Their next collegiate match will be against the No. 15 Hatters at Stetson, followed by Texas A&M – Corpus Christi on Wednesday, March 11.
