CCNN Live (Christopher Columbus News Network) is proud to announce the premiere of Westchester Unscripted, an in-depth documentary that explores the rich history and cultural evolution of this unique Miami suburb.
Westchester Unscripted features interviews with noted local historians, including Grant Mller, Dr. E. Carter Burrus, Jr., and John Lynskey, who offer insight and perspective on the spirit and communal pride that has defined Westchester for seven decades.
Narration is provided by renowned comedian Marcos “El Caballo” Tabares, who brings his distinctive energy and sense of humor to the story.
Westchester Unscripted is a delightful and engaging look at the people, locations and defining moments that have shaped this special parcel of Dade County, and shows why Westchester isn’t just a place – it is a state of mind.
The premiere of Westchester Unscripted is scheduled for Thursday, March 19, at the Westchester Cultural Arts Center, from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM. Admission is $10, and tickets are available on Eventbrite, with all proceeds benefitting Mindset for Media, which supports media literacy initiatives for schools across Miami-Dade County. The evening is hosted with the support of Commissioner Anthony Rodriguez, and will include a panel discussion, as well as light refreshments.
