The Greetings From Florida beer festival happens at Green Bench Brewing Co. on Friday, March 13, from 5 to 9 p.m. BarrieHaus Beer Co. and Green Bench Brewing Co. host it. More than 75 lagers from 30 breweries will be there.
This marks year four. It’s part of Tampa Bay Beer Week. Tickets run $75 and can be bought now.
According to I Love the Burg.com, breweries from Tampa Bay and other parts of the country will participate — over 30 in total. Each one brings at least two beers, and the two host breweries add specialty creations. Some beers have never appeared in Florida.
You’ll find traditional European-inspired lagers alongside modern takes. Organizers want attendees to dress in tropical-themed clothes.
Ticket holders get unlimited pours from those 75-plus lagers on tap. Everyone receives a glass mug to keep and can watch beach-inspired live shows. Merchandise will be sold.
Three food vendors serve during the festival. Lost Coast Oysters, Offset Sandwich Exchange, and Cipolla Rosa Pizza sell food throughout the event.
Green Bench and Webb’s City Cellar remain open to everyone during the festival, but you need a ticket to enter the festival grounds.
