Cinnaholic will open its first St. Pete location on Friday, March 6, at 5246 4th St. N. $2 specialty rolls will be available from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on opening day. The plant-based cinnamon roll chain promises a deal that won’t last long.

The shop stays open until 10 p.m. or until supplies run out on opening day. After the weekend wraps up, hours shift to 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Friday. Weekend hours will be 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

The Atlanta-based franchise lets customers build their own cinnamon rolls. Twenty frosting flavors await with over 20 toppings to choose from. Frosting options span almond, banana cream, marshmallow, cream cheese, peanut butter, and raspberry.

Toppings range from pretzels to brownie bites, including chocolate sauce, caramel, strawberry jam, chocolate chips, peanut butter cups, graham crackers, Oreo cookies, walnuts, pie crumble, and almonds. Fresh fruit options include apples, strawberries, blueberries, bananas, coconut, and raspberries.

Baby buns appear on the menu. So do cookies, brownies, soft serve, and customized cinnamon roll cakes called “Cinnacakes.” All items are 100% plant-based and free of dairy, lactose, eggs, or cholesterol. Beverages from Joffrey’s Coffee & Tea Company will be available.

Franchisee Victor Hamisevicz operates the location with partner Dawn Pierce. The pair will run the shop from a 1,225-square-foot space that once housed Nutrishop. It sits next to Metro Diner.

“I’ve lived in Pinellas County for over twenty years, but only recently moved to St. Pete. My family and I really love it here and we wanted to be part of this community,” Hamisevicz said in a conversation with St. Pete Rising. “It’s a unique city in a lot of ways, and we thought the folks here would appreciate the vegan options.”

Both partners had encountered the brand while traveling out of town. They felt the concept would work well in the area. Hurricane-related setbacks hit and permitting delays followed. The opening got pushed back longer than expected.

The California-based company was founded in 2010. It began expanding after appearing on Shark Tank in 2014. The franchise now has 90 locations nationwide.

This marks the first location in Pinellas County. Other Florida shops operate in South Tampa, Wesley Chapel, and Boca Raton.
