There is patchy fog in the area that should dissipate around 9 a.m., according to NWS Melbourne.

The skies will be mostly sunny with a high near 84 for metro Orlando, with temperatures peaking in the high 70s in Daytona and Melbourne.

Isolated onshore-moving showers continue, especially south of Cape Canaveral.

East winds are blowing 10 to 15 mph

There is a high risk of rip currents at all Central Florida Atlantic beaches today.

Small craft should exercise caution across offshore Atlantic waters for seas up to 6 feet.
