Down here, the 305 is more than just an area code. It’s a lifestyle, making March 5 (3/05) the ultimate date to celebrate everything we love about the Magic City. Since this is Miami after all, we never pass up a reason to party to flaunt our hometown pride.
Gear up to do exactly that with this lineup of amazing activities and specials, bringing you everything from limited-edition food drops to massive block parties and unbeatable drink specials:
Courtesy of 305 DAY
No 305 Day celebration is complete without hitting up the official community festival taking over Hialeah Park. It’s totally free (just make sure you RSVP on their website) and packed with everything that makes our city iconic: live street art, food trucks, free cafecito and the first-ever Red Bull Chancleta Run. Yes, you’re reading that right! And yes, it all goes down at 3:05 on Saturday, March 7.
Dust off your aviators, grab a bald cap and belt out your best “¡Dale!” because Thorn Miami is looking for the city’s best Mr. 305 doppelgänger. Winners will compete for a $150 FirePit Hospitality gift card, and even if you don’t take home the crown, everyone can still vibe to sounds by DJ Illicit and sip on 305-themed drink specials.
Eleventh Street Pizza
Eleventh Street Pizza is celebrating all day long with a party built on two of our favorite things: delicious food and cheap drinks! On March 5th, from open to close, both of their locations will be serving their legendary sourdough slices for just $3 and draft beers for $5.
