TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – A two-vehicle crash occurred Thursday morning around Capital Circle NE and Care Drive, prompting lanes in that area to close temporarily, according to Tallahassee Police.
In a social media post just before 7:45 a.m., the police department announced that it was working a traffic crash around Capital Circle NE and Care Drive.
At that time, southbound lanes on Capital Circle NE were closed from Centerville Road to Care Drive, police said.

Since then, a TPD public information officer confirmed just after 9 a.m. that the roadway is now clear.
A TPD watch commander confirmed around 8 a.m. that some injuries were involved.
However, the PIO said the extent of the injuries is unknown as treatment is still being sought at this time.
This is an open and active investigation.
