WINONA, Minn. – The Winona State tennis team travels to Orlando, Fla. for their annual spring break trip, where they compete in five matches in five days.
The Warriors will open their trip against East Stroudsburg on Sunday, March 8th and will also compete against California (PA), West Chester, Northwood, and wrap up their trip against Ohio Northern on Thursday, March 12th.
Winona State Notes:
The Warriors are 4-3 on the year, and 2-1 in conference play.
Nikita Agrawal is 4-2 overall in singles, going 1-0 at the No. 3 singles, 3-1 at the No. 4 singles, and 0-1 at the No. 5 singles.
Clara Thoemke is 5-2 in singles, going 4-1 at the No. 2 singles, 1-0 at the No. 3 singles, and 0-1 at the No. 4 singles.
A team of Izabel Barr and Thoemke lead the doubles going 3-1 at the No. 2 doubles spot.
East Stroudsburg University Notes:
The Warriors are 5-3 on the year.
Audrey Conover leads the Warriors 7-3 in singles, going 0-1 at the No. 2 singles, 2-0 at the No. 3 singles, going 2-1 at the No. 4 singles, and 1-0 at the No. 5 singles.
A team of Ermina Claudia and Bega Gotor are 4-2 in doubles matches this year.
California University of Pennsylvania Notes:
The Vulcans are 3-4 so far this season.
Garance Laforet is 5-1 overall in singles, going 1-0 at the No. 2 singles, 0-1 at the No. 3 singles, and 4-0 at the No. 4 singles.
A team of Laforet and Diletta Maria Mungo are 6-1 in doubles matches this year, going 1-0 at the No. 1 doubles and 5-1 at the No. 2 doubles.
West Chester University Notes:
The Golden Rams are 3-0 on the season.
Elaina Lee is 9-8 on the singles circuit so far this season, going 1-1 at the No. 2 singles and going 8-7 at the No. 3 singles.
